People are visual creatures.

It's not popular to say that people choose business partners (or any partner) based on looks.

I'm not sure why exactly it's unpopular.

It's been proven "1000 ways til Sunday" by Science.

I guess it's because it's seen as shallow.

Let the person be shallow then.

Why does that affect you?

On the supply-demand curve, there is no shortage of people lacking accountability.

Do you know what's in short supply?

People who sound good looking.

When you talk to someone without video (iPhone, Google Hangout, Zoom, etc.), you can tell if they're confident or not.

And when you do, you're visualizing someone in your head that is confident (or not).

Outliers (sociopaths and celebrities...don't @ me) there is no magic switch for confidence. You need repetitions in whatever you're trying to do. Experience begets confidence.

Confidence makes you sound really good-looking.
